At the NYS Writers Hall of Fame Gala, to be held on Tuesday, June 5, in New York City, these students will be recognized as the 2012 Letters About Literature winners and runners-up.

Level 2 – Melissa Mary Helm, Grade 8, Casey Middle School, Getzville (Read her letter)

Level 3 – Robert S. Glover, Grade 12, Chenango Valley High School, Port Crane (Read his letter)

Robert’s was also selected as one of only 15 letters nationwide that were advanced to the national level competition for Level 3.
